What are some of your favorite words to live by, when it comes to health/balance/state of being?
If one could look inside your brain for a moment and find what it is that makes you exude the wellbeing within, what would the caption be?
Share you favorite quotations on wellbeing here!

EEEEEEEEEEEEKK!
(pant, pant)
Wow, that was scary ....
Anyway, I guess my phrase would be ....
Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.

I have a new bon mot:
Any day when you're hooked up to an IV, having an organ removed, or exploding from infection is a good day.
Yeah, okay, so it needs work--but it's a start!

"You are loved."
It doesn't get any better than that for internal well-being. _________________ Chuck: I don't know anything about you since you were nine.

A blissful life requires only:
A wife of many years who still loves you, and laughs at your dumb jokes.
Children who admire you.
Parents who are proud of you.
Friends who trust you.
A dog who worships you.
A cat that tolerates you. _________________ What if there were no hypothetical situations? |

Thanks for the new additions, Hat, CL, and Horton! I love all of them.
I start back with kids on Tuesday (I had workshops and in-service this week), and I know I'll be looking for more inspiration like this from time to time. (Not that I'm not excited, because I am--perhaps more so than any of my previous years--I'm THRILLED to be going back.)

'Come to the edge,' He said. They said, 'We are afraid.' 'Come to the edge,' He said. They came. He pushed them...and they flew."
- Guillaume Apollinaire
Yes, we're gearing up at the college to start next week. I've spent all week fine-tuning class sizes as they register, so I don't end up with four kids in one baking class and twenty in another.
Next week, just walking around the campus looking like you might know what you're doing prompts questions, usually "Where is room E013?". Answer? Building E has a half basement, which one can only reach by one of 4 entrances to the building. _________________ “I don't consider myself a pessimist.
