Hi all,
I'm here at my folks, and we just finished up a dinner party and I just got some very bad news.

Last week my favorite Aunt had 2 liters of fluid removed from her lungs and got the test results back on Wednesday. In addition, 2/3 of the fluid has returned.

Well it's the big nasty C word. It hasn't been pinpointed excatly but the docs believe that it could be Lung or Esiphogus. My cousin has done some research on-line for avio(sp)? Cancer and what she found is SOOOOOO not good.

I'm still in shock I guess and I don't want to believe that it's true, she looked like her normal self tonight...so...any prayers that you can send our way. She's my dad's youngest sister.

Audrey and Phil have been my parents traveling partners and who they go to Arizona with annually. Audrey has 5 kids; 7 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids.

Our family is very close and this is going to be very difficult.

Don't know if y'all have seen my latest post on b-net. Prognosis is not good if Chemo does work quickly. Advanced Lung Cancer......I cried all day yesterday when I got the e-mail and had to leave work.

Prayer, lit candles, positive energy, just anything would be so greatly appericated it's not even funny.

UPDATE:

Recieved news yesterday that She is officialy in REMISSION!!!!!

**Does happy dance all about the room**

She will be taking a "chemo pill" for the next year or so, but the Doc says she's in remission.

No crap, looks like we struck some kind of deal with the Creator man that would have came in handy a year and a half ago.

Or maybe that's why Hurricane Rita slammed into SW Louisiana and barely grazed SE Texas.

Talked to my mom yesterday and we have some not good news.

The cancer is out of remission and is now in her lungs, apperantly it was in the sac around her lungs at first...I know nothing, I don't understand any of this.

Next Friday they meet with the doctor and he will then tell them/us how much time we have..

This fucking sucks....on so many levels I can't even comprehend...
