| I recently found that New Age music and embroidery can send me to a wonderful place. Since I'm not so sure how long this love affair will last can anyone suggest their favorite New Age music so I can download some of this wonderful music to a CD. At the moment I have to be sitting in front of my digital cable television channel in my family room and listen to soundscapes(which is a detriment since my television in my craft room/studio doesn't have digital). My hubby is worried my dog will sit on a needle or even worse the scissors. |

I'll bet if you dog DOES sit on a needle, he'll only do it once. _________________ What if there were no hypothetical situations? |

Surf over to Live365 for live streaming internet radio, with thousands of channels. There's something for everyone, including over 180 New Age stations.. You can't download the streams to CD, but who needs to, when you can simply turn on your computer and speakers, or even run an audio cord from your computer to your stereo and listen? And you will be exposed to artist you've not encountered before, so then you'll know whose music you want to buy in the future. _________________ "Always know where your towel is." - Ford Prefect

I'm not much into New Age music itself per se. But *edited*ECM Records puts out a lot of what I consider to be a more European 'contemplative' form of jazz.
Keith Jarret's "The Koln Concert" from back in late 70s, is one of my all-time favorites. |

I'm usually a very active listener with most music, but I find I can zone out and just "be" with New Age. I usually go under the heading "Ambient" in iTunes to find some good soothing background stuff. _________________ Chuck: I don't know anything about you since you were nine.
