That reminds me of an episode of the TV series Wiseguy, which was about a government agent named Vinnie infiltrating a Mafia family. This is actually the only thing I remember from the series.
Vinnie's brother was a Catholic priest and they were discussing the morality of Vinnie's job when his brother the priest said to him in reference to dealing with mobsters, "The Bible says that the Lord will provide."
Vinnie's answer was, "What if what the Lord provides is people like me?" _________________ Generous and brave men live the best,

our desire for revenge or "getting them back" is very understanable, and also very much of the flesh.

Real names in brackets:
Jake the Snake = Jake Roberts (Aurelien Smith Jr.), son of Grizzley Smith (Aurelien Smith), brother of former women's titlist Rockin' Robin (Robin Smith).
Jake is still around. He pops up on indie cards now and then, where his inability to control his addictions tends to be overlooked (he's demanded to be paid in crack before now). Never the greatest in-ring wrestler in the world, Jake became an industry power player due to his interviews (I still regard him as the best speaker in wrestling history) before his addictions spiralled out of control in the late-eighties and early-nineties. Briefly overcame them in 1995/96 when he became a born-again Christian and briefly joined the ministry but even that didn't keep him on the wagon for long.
Jake is one of wrestling's saddest stories. I'm not goign to make excuses for him since he's made his own choices but hearing his story (check out the wrestling documentry Beyond The Mat), I can understand why he's made the choices he has. If he was capable of conquering his personal demons, he'd still be a power player in the business otday but, despite his best efforts, Jake hasn't proved capable of conquering them. In what will turn out to be a sad footnote to his career, he was last year charged with animal neglect and cruelty when the RSPCA (Jake was living in England at the time) rescued his pet python which was starving to death. Sadly, the RSPCA were not able to save the creature. Jake pleaded guilty but offered in mitigation that he had not been intentionally cruel, he had just been too often and continually stoned to remember to feed the poor animal.
What should be obvious from reading this is that Jake's life has left him with some severe psychological problems but Jake has been either unable or unwilling to get treatment for them. _________________ 5150: I'm crazy, what's your excuse?

In such cases, power shall devolve to either the most senior member of the administration who is not implicated or to the congress until such charges are resolved. Should the administration be convicted of such a crime, the congress shall decide whether the administration remains intact enough to continue or is fatally wounded. In the latter case, a new election shall be called for the first opportunity. Ummm, I always liked the concept that if you kill one, you are a murderer.

"Kill thousands, and you are a hero of legend!"
Only if you kill 'them'.
"Kill millions, and you shall be a god!"
Or a demon. Take your pick. _________________ Political Games: Where the fuck's the reset button?!
