Okay, there oughta be a way we can use this for the JSM.

My very first feature article was published today! Here's the link:

http://www.grassrootsmusic.com/feature/jonah33

Yes, the Lily is officially a professional: I am paid for this and the
CD reviews I also do on grassroots and truetunes.com!

Wah-hoo! I am so psyched -- can y'all tell?

...who spent 12/31 and 1/2 cleaning out 2/3 of the basement with DH and
DSs -- talk about Cinderella the day after the ball! Very Happy

Congrats, Lily! Woot!

Hey, for any writers interested.... check this out (yes, it's mine)... we could do round-robin contributory stories here to exercise our skills and have fun at the same time.

Cool, no? Wink

Because the Lily is going to be on local TV!

AUGH! No angels, no Reverend Monkey, no nothing available to convert the heathen in Buffalo.

I'd sent out a publicity blurb for by Writers group and one of the TV stations offered me a space on their "Promore local stuff" early moring show.

I don't even have a bridesmaid's gown ready, and my wigbar is in mothballs.

Oh, the wallets we will miss!

Lily

Evil or Very Mad

I should read emails more carefully. Tonight I was going to send another email about the potential TV appearance. As I looked for the sender's address, I reread the TV call letters in their sig more carefully. It's *not* from the local CBS affiliate. It's from TCT - the local offshoot of TBN.

No, no, no.

[thinks about it some more]

NO. NO. NO.

Good heavens, JSM was started as a rant against TBN!

The only thing left is to politely say "no, thanks" if they ever email me back.

*sigh* Potential fame is so fleeting. But far better, for me, to remain unknown than to cozy up to the real life wigbar-and bridesmaid-gown set.

Lily
